China hedge funds face gloomy outlook
China-focused hedge funds had a terrible 2016 in terms of both performance and asset flows and are unlikely to see demand return soon, according to research firm eVestment. Investors pulled $17 billion from Asia (including Japan) strategies last year, leaving their estimated assets under management standing at $95.2 billion.
