SSGA names new head of Asia ex-Japan
State Street Global Advisors has hired an industry veteran to run its regional business following the departure of Ting Li earlier this year.

State Street Global Advisors, the asset management arm of custody group State Street, has named June Wong, formerly of fund house Columbia Threadneedle, as head of its Asia ex-Japan business.
She will start in March to replace Ting Li, who left SSGA after 14 years with the firm to join China-backed boutique bank Reorient as co-CEO in August this year.
